Join us for an evening of connection, inspiration, and impact in support of the new Center for Healing and Justice.
For more than four decades, AdHoc Group Against Crime has stood beside Kansas Citians impacted by violence—listening, guiding, and walking with them toward healing and justice. Now, we’re taking a bold step forward with the creation of the AdHoc Center for Healing and Justice, a space where survivors can find comfort, resources, and a path to hope.
On October 16 at The Abbott, Legacy & Light: A Celebration of Healing and Justice will bring together neighbors, leaders, and supporters for an evening that fuels this vision. Guests will share in meaningful conversation, uplifting music, and powerful stories that honor resilience. The program includes a fireside chat with Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks Shaw, remarks from community changemakers, and the unveiling of our Legacy Wall—a lasting tribute to those whose stories inspire us to keep going.
By attending, sponsoring, or giving, you are investing directly in a stronger, safer, and more compassionate Kansas City.
Join us for an unforgettable evening on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abbott, 1901 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64108
Tickets start at $175 per person and include a cocktail reception, dinner and program, and a live auction and raffle. Unable to attend but want to help AdHoc reach more families when they need it most? Donate here.
